Blythe !

I finally got myself a blythe and now I'm addicted :) there is just something about their little faces that keep you coming back for more.
I loved my blythe so much that I bought another so without further ado I shall introduce my blythes.

They are both factory blythes that I have customised, there is Carrie (the brunette )and fox (with the red hair).
First I shall show you Carrie

She is Star Wars themed as I love <3 Star Wars :)
Here is what she looked like before her customisation:

I think she looks much nicer now :)
Blythes can have a string that you pull to change the colour of their eyes, I modded this so she can have "sleepy eyes" which basically means she can close her eyes.
On the topic of modding both girls have also been given a "gaze lift/ gaze correction"

Carrie has a glittery Galaxy painted on her eye lids, I added a tiny millennium falcon and Death Star decals on top :)

The charms on the end of the string you pull to close/change her eyes are a little storm trooper and a lightsaber.
Now on to fox

Here is a look at her cute little face :)

Fox is ... Fox themed so I painted a little landscape with a tree and a fox on her eye lids.#

Here is a look at fox's charms. I made the little fox from polymer clay :)

And here they are together, aren't they cute?

That just about wraps it up for today, thanks for reading :)

Extra:
Look at fox's shoes and carrie's camera :)

Contest entry for requiem arts back to school competition :)

Hello again dear readers,
Today I'm posting about my entry for requiem arts back to school doll contest :)
This is my pullip doll Alice, I have been unhappy about her wig and clothing for a while and as a result I didn't play with her as much as I would like. :(

When I saw Requiem arts contest it gave me the motivation to get started.

I really needed a new wig so I thought to make my own, I went for a pullip papain style of wig.
Firstly I made my own wig fibre by brushing out some wool/yarn
It took about 2 hours.
Then I spent a good while removing all tangles from my wig fibre.
Next was the wig cap first I carefully cut up a sock and sewed it together this took. About 30 minutes. Once I had my wig cap made I wrapped my doll in plastic put the wig cap on and began to apply the wig fibre with glue. 1 hour 30 minutes later I had a wig :)
Whilst that was drying I set to work on her outfit.
I made a little jumper dress from a sock and then proceeded to sew tiny cute little pom-poms on it.
This took me another hour and a half.
And then she was done :)
I'm so happy with how it came out and Alice gets played with a lot more as a result of this.

Here is the before and after shots :
My photography has improved a lot since the first photo so please excuse the before shot :)

Long time no post- saturdoll showcase- sailor Venus

it has been a few weeks since I last posted as i have been super busy moving all my craft gear into my new craft room. For that I apologise and I should be getting into a regular posting schedule soon.
Today I am showcasing my really cool irwin toys sailor Venus doll, from the anime sailor moon.
Sailor moon is my first anime and is still one of my very favourites. I picked up my sailor Venus from  a comic convention a few months back when I was cosplaying as the same character. I really love my mini sailor scout and she is a fun momento to remind me of the fun I had at the convention.
